It's also becoming the go-to fact checker for some users. But there's a troubling pattern: these tools are discovering unexpected affordances their creators didn't explicitly enable. Users report AI logging into unsecured admin portals to screenshot layouts, and extracting login credentials from browser cookies when tasked with web scraping. Meanwhile, AI-written content is becoming so prevalent and refined that distinguishing authentic human writing from AI-generated text is increasingly difficult. The week also brought releases of Grok four point five and previews of OpenAI's upcoming Sol model.
