NASA Scientists Take to Air and Space to Study Arctic Sea Ice

According to NASA News, engineers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory are testing a spacecraft sensor to measure how fast Arctic sea ice is disappearing. Though the instrument won't launch for another year, researchers recently completed a two-week field campaign in the Canadian Arctic to prepare and refine how the sensor will track ice loss in real time.
