Turkish president gives Nato leaders engraved guns and bullets at summit

According to The Guardian, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented NATO leaders with an unusual gift at this week's summit in Ankara: personalized revolvers, each engraved with the recipient's name, along with six bullets. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer revealed the presents on the flight back home. While ceremonial gifts are standard diplomatic practice, firearms are an exceptionally rare—and puzzling—choice, leaving the NATO officials to contemplate what to do with their new acquisitions.
