Ted Cruz warns Talarico has “real chance” to flip Texas’ U.S. Senate seat

According to the Texas Tribune, Senator Ted Cruz called into Governor Greg Abbott's guest-hosted Hannity radio show to warn that Democrat James Talarico poses a genuine threat to his U.S. Senate seat. Cruz acknowledged that Talarico is charismatic and could persuade voters who aren't closely following the issues. The comments come as Texas's twenty twenty-six Senate race shapes up to be competitive.
