Trump’s proposed 250ft Washington arch clears key planning hurdle

According to the Guardian, the National Capital Planning Commission has approved preliminary plans for a two hundred fifty-foot arch proposed by Donald Trump in Washington. The structure would be built at the Virginia end of the Memorial Bridge, despite overwhelming public opposition. The commission has deferred its decision on whether federal height restrictions should apply to the monument.
