Victor Marx, self-proclaimed ‘high-risk missionary’, wins Republican primary for Colorado governor – as it happened

According to The Guardian, David Hearn, a former Olympic canoeist, pleaded not guilty to vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial's reflecting pool. The sixty-seven-year-old from Maryland was arrested in June after stopping by the pool during a bike ride. Hearn says he was detained for nearly five hours after reaching into the water to inspect what he described as a piece of the pool's blue liner, which he believed was partially detached from the bottom.
