Deadly H5 bird flu found in local Australian seabird for first time

According to The Guardian, Australia has recorded its first case of deadly H5 bird flu in local wildlife. The federal agriculture minister, Julie Collins, said a greater crested tern — a common coastal bird — tested positive after being found at Robe on South Australia's Limestone Coast.
