Anthony Hopkins Signed by Decca Classics; First Album of Music Composed by Oscar-Winning Actor Set for August Release

According to Variety, Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins is releasing his first classical album. Beyond his legendary film roles—including Hannibal Lecter in 'Silence of the Lambs'—Hopkins has been composing music for more than six decades. Decca Classics is now recording these original compositions, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel and performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra. The album arrives in August.
