Ann Widdecombe, former Tory MP and Reform UK member, dies aged 78

According to The Guardian, the former British politician Ann Widdecombe has died at the age of seventy-eight. A statement from her management announced her death today, describing her with great sadness. Widdecombe served as a member of Parliament and later as a member of the European Parliament. She was a prominent Eurosceptic, was known for her socially conservative views, and was more recently associated with Reform UK.
