Police discover body of teenage girl in Victorian bushland after 13-year-old vanished on weekend

According to The Guardian, police in regional Victoria have found the body of a 13-year-old girl who went missing over the weekend. Layla Jeffery's remains were discovered in bushland near Donald, a small town in the state's west, late on Thursday afternoon following an extensive search. Investigators say they are treating the death as suspicious.
