Low-cost airline easyJet is now the subject of a bidding war. US private equity firm Apollo has tabled an all-cash offer of five point seven billion pounds, valuing the company at seven point one five pounds per share. easyJet's board says it's minded to recommend the deal to shareholders — this follows a rival offer from Castlelake just days earlier.
