16-year-old boy arrested after police discovered body of 13-year-old girl in Victorian bushland

According to The Guardian, police in Victoria, Australia, have arrested a sixteen-year-old boy after discovering the body of a thirteen-year-old girl in bushland. The victim, Layla Jeffery, had gone missing over the weekend, and her remains were found late Thursday near the small town of Donald, in western Victoria, following an extensive search. Police say they are treating the death as suspicious.
