According to The Guardian, Telstra says it is aware that South Australia police are investigating a death that occurred during the company's recent network outage. Police confirmed they are examining the death of a person at a regional hospital on Wednesday, which coincided with disruptions to Telstra's network, including its triple-zero emergency line. The company says it is working with investigators to establish whether there is any connection between the death and the outage. Communications minister Anika Wells said Telstra must, in her words, face the music over the failure.
