Spain wildfire near Almeria kills 11 and sparks major evacuations

According to Euronews, a deadly wildfire is burning near Almeria in southern Spain, killing at least eleven people and forcing major evacuations. The blaze swept through a semi-arid area near the Sierra de los Filabres, around the town of Los Gallardos. Euronews reports that eleven deaths had been confirmed by the tenth of July, but the feed does not include further detail on the response effort.
