Boy, 16, arrested after police discover body of 13-year-old girl in Victorian bushland

According to The Guardian, a sixteen-year-old boy has been arrested after police discovered the body of a thirteen-year-old girl in bushland in regional Victoria, Australia. The girl, Layla Jeffery, had gone missing over the weekend, and her remains were found late Thursday afternoon near the small western Victorian town of Donald, following an extensive search. Victoria police say they are treating her death as suspicious.
