More than half of voters view Farage and Reform as ‘very sleazy’ as Clacton by-election called for 13 August– UK politics live

According to The Guardian, more than half of British voters now view Nigel Farage and his Reform UK party as very sleazy, with negative perceptions of both the leader and the party growing according to polling experts. The Clacton by-election has been scheduled for Thursday the thirteenth of August. Farage triggered the early vote by resigning his Clacton seat—a strategic move to control the timing before a standards inquiry could force a recall election later in the year. Candidates have until July seventeenth at four p-m to file nominations.
