Global oil demand set for first annual drop since the COVID-19 pandemic, IEA says

According to the International Energy Agency, global oil consumption is on track to decline this year for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. The drop reflects disruptions in Gulf exports caused by the ongoing US-Iran conflict, though supply levels did increase in June.
