GMB warns Labour MPs that cap on political donations could endanger party funding

According to The Guardian, one of Britain's biggest trade unions — the GMB — has warned Labour MPs against voting for caps on political donations in upcoming legislation. The union fears that limits of either one hundred thousand or one million pounds could jeopardize the funding it provides to the Labour party. Labour whips have been calling MPs to press them to heed the union's warning.
