Russian state media reported the rescue of a ten-year-old girl from Kostiantynivka, a city that Moscow claims to have fully captured in the Donetsk region. But according to Meduza, independent Russian journalists at Agentstvo found a critical flaw in that account: the girl appears to have been far from any active fighting for more than a month before the rescue was announced, casting serious doubt on the official narrative.
