Police launch murder investigation into death of Ann Widdecombe

According to The Guardian, police have launched a murder investigation following the suspicious death of Ann Widdecombe, the former MP and television personality, at her home on Dartmoor, in Devon. Widdecombe, who was seventy-eight, was found after officers were called to an address at Haytor by the ambulance service at around eleven forty on Thursday morning. Her death was announced on Friday by her management.
