According to Variety, Horror Inc. is orchestrating a major expansion of the Jason Voorhees franchise across film, television, and gaming. The multiplayer game Dead by Daylight is integrating Friday the 13th content, while a television series called Camp Crystal Lake is in development. New Jason merchandise is also launching. Executives say this is just the beginning, with substantially more content on the horizon. The franchise celebrated its forty-fifth anniversary last year.
