The Builder’s Economy: 10 Metrics from ICONIQ’s Newest 2026 State of AI Report

ICONIQ released the third edition of its State of AI report today, called "The Builder's Economy." The report surveyed roughly three hundred five executives at software companies building AI products during the second quarter of twenty twenty-six. According to SaaStr, there's been a notable shift from the January edition: that report was about proving AI works, while this one is about proving AI pays. The industry's narrative has moved from technical validation to demonstrating real business value and monetization in AI products.
