Delta Airlines posted one point four billion dollars in profit despite facing its highest quarterly fuel expenses ever, according to the Guardian. The airline is keeping airfares elevated even as oil prices have dropped, citing strong travel demand. CEO Ed Bastian said Delta has already passed sixty percent of its extra fuel costs to passengers, with plans to eventually shift all elevated costs to ticket prices.
