According to The Guardian, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's duet 'Rein Me In' has now spent sixteen weeks at number one on the UK singles chart—setting a new record for a British artist. The song surpassed Wet Wet Wet's 'Love is All Around,' which held fifteen weeks at the top back in nineteen ninety-four. The interesting part: Fender and Dean's track has dropped in and out of the number-one spot since February, unlike Wet Wet Wet's consecutive run. To match the all-time record held by Frankie Laine since nineteen fifty-three, they'll need nineteen weeks total.
