Graham Platner makes it official in Maine, submitting paperwork to leave Senate race

Graham Platner, Maine's Democratic Senate nominee, has officially withdrawn from the race, NPR reports. In his withdrawal notice, Platner said people are desperate for change — and Maine Democrats now have until July twenty-seventh to select a replacement.
