Boing Boing reports the Hastings Museum in Nebraska is now showcasing a permanent exhibit about Kool-Aid's origins—fitting, since the city is where the drink was invented. Inventor Edwin Perkins created the iconic powdered mix in nineteen twenty-seven by transforming an earlier liquid concentrate called Fruit Smack.
