Crews again drain Trump’s troubled reflecting pool

The Guardian reports that crews drained the Lincoln Memorial's reflecting pool on Friday—a project plagued by algae blooms and peeling paint, part of Donald Trump's mission to beautify Washington D.C. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum confirmed the draining was planned and said the water might still contain debris from Independence Day fireworks over the National Mall.
