Oregon D.A. Drops Motion to Delay Paramount-Warner Bros. Merger

Variety is reporting that Oregon's attorney general has withdrawn its motion to block the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger. The one hundred eleven billion dollar deal could now close as soon as July twenty-second. But several states, including California and Oregon, are still investigating whether the merger complies with antitrust law.
