TV presenter Dermot Murnaghan dies after prostate cancer illness

The veteran British broadcaster Dermot Murnaghan has died at the age of sixty-eight, The Guardian reports. His family said he died peacefully at home in London on Saturday, after a period of illness with prostate cancer. A long-familiar presence on UK television, Murnaghan was a former BBC and Sky News presenter, and was also widely known for hosting the quiz show Eggheads.
