Character actor Peter Van Norden has died at the age of seventy-five. Variety reports that Van Norden, whose long career included a role in "Police Academy 2" and the television adaptation of Stephen King's "The Stand," died Thursday in California, according to his son Robert, who confirmed the news on Instagram. Born in New York, Van Norden graduated from Colgate University and began his career onstage.
