According to BBC World, at least thirteen people have been killed and dozens more injured in a technical accident at a liquified natural gas processing facility in Qatar. The incident occurred at the Ras Laffan industrial zone, one of the region's primary LNG operations. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
