More than 1 million evacuated as Typhoon Bavi makes landfall in China

France 24 reports that Chinese authorities have evacuated more than one point seven million people as Typhoon Bavi made landfall in the eastern province of Zhejiang. As of Saturday, hundreds of flights had been cancelled and some high-speed rail services halted. It's the second typhoon to strike China in just over a week.
