Toronto shooting: two dead and three injured as police search for active shooter

Police in Toronto are searching for an active shooter after a shooting at a street festival left two people dead and three others wounded. The Guardian reports that officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Salsa on St Clair festival, an area lined with shops and restaurants, around eight in the evening on Saturday. Authorities have urged the public to stay away from the festival area while the search continues.
