UK becoming ‘wild west’ for experimental peptides, expert warns

The UK has become a "wild west" for people selling experimental peptides, steroids and other unregulated substances online, a leading expert warns. According to The Guardian, Professor Channa Jayasena of Imperial College London says he now sees patients taking these experimental peptides day in, day out, and that action is needed to avoid fatalities. He argues the danger has grown as responsibility for these substances falls between regulators, leaving the market effectively unpoliced.
