France held its first annual day of commemoration for Alfred Dreyfus on Sunday, the Jewish army officer wrongly convicted of treason in one of the country's most notorious antisemitism cases of the late nineteenth century. As RFI English tells it, with reports of hate speech on the rise, President Emmanuel Macron said France had yet to shed its 'old demons' of prejudice.
