politics
The Guardian reports on analysis by Friends of the Earth showing Reform UK would have kept just fifteen percent of its donations under a proposed one hundred thousand pound cap. Last year the party received twenty-six point seven million pounds, with an average donation of one hundred thirty-seven thousand four hundred ninety-six pounds—nearly six times larger than the average for Labour or the Conservatives. It's a striking illustration of Reform's reliance on a small circle of wealthy backers.
