More than 100 firefighters tackle railway embankment blaze in east London

More than one hundred firefighters are battling a blaze on a railway embankment in east London. The Guardian reports that around one hundred twenty-five firefighters and twenty-five fire engines were called to the scene near Vallentin Road in Walthamstow. According to the London Fire Brigade, the fire is producing a significant amount of smoke.
