Fable gets another bump

ai

Anthropic has extended Claude Fable 5 access on paid plans through July nineteen, per tech analyst Simon Willison. Users can dedicate up to half their weekly Claude Max limit to Fable, then continue with usage credits or switch to other models. The company originally restricted Fable's availability to manage compute demand while gauging long-term viability. Meanwhile, OpenAI's rival model, GPT-five point six Sol, faces no such restrictions. Willison argues the uncertainty surrounding Fable's future availability is driving users toward OpenAI — and suggests Anthropic should make Fable permanently available to stay competitive.
