At least 27 killed in blaze at Bangkok pub, Thai officials say

At least twenty-seven people have been killed in a fire at a pub in Bangkok, according to The Guardian, which cites Thailand's prime minister and other officials. A representative of the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, a volunteer emergency rescue service, put the toll at more than twenty-seven. Officials described it as one of the deadliest such incidents in the Thai capital, a major tourist destination, in recent years.
