Fontainebleau fire has decimated 5% of the forest, authorities say

France is fighting what authorities are calling an exceptionally large wildfire in the Fontainebleau forest south of Paris, France 24 reports. As of July 13th, the blaze has already scorched roughly five percent of the woodland, with aircraft overhead and firefighters on the ground working to bring it under control. Officials say there are suspicions the fire was started deliberately.
