'It's a monster': FRANCE 24 speaks to resident evacuated due to the Fontainebleau fire

A wildfire tearing through the Fontainebleau forest south of Paris has scorched nearly one thousand hectares since it broke out on July twelfth, an area larger than Gibraltar. France 24 reports that hundreds of residents from nearby towns have been evacuated, and that authorities are investigating whether the blaze may have been an act of arson. One evacuated resident, speaking to France 24, described the fire simply as a monster.
