Trump backs Lindsey Graham’s sister to serve rest of Republican’s Senate term

The Guardian reports that President Trump has recommended appointing Lindsey Graham's sister to temporarily fill the late senator's seat. Trump wrote on social media that the state's governor, Henry McMaster, should name Darline Graham Nordone to serve out the term, which expires in January, calling it a fitting tribute. Under the process, the governor holds the power to make the appointment.
