A Moscow court has sentenced Georgy Pirogov to 23 years in a maximum-security penal colony, Meduza reports. The 37-year-old fled Russia after the invasion of Ukraine, later disappeared while working in Uzbekistan, and eventually resurfaced in a Moscow jail. He's also been fined 800,000 rubles.
