Trump's HHS abandons threat to withhold Medicare and Medicaid funding over trans care

Per NPR, the Department of Health and Human Services will not finalize its attempt to end gender-affirming care for transgender youth nationally. The agency had threatened to withhold Medicare and Medicaid funding over such treatment, but is now abandoning that threat.
