Mexico to file criminal complaints over migrants killed by ICE in US

world

Mexico is preparing to take legal action over the deaths of its citizens in US immigration custody. According to The Guardian, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Monday that Mexico will file criminal complaints in the United States over the deaths of more than a dozen Mexican migrants held in immigration detention or killed in anti-migrant operations. Among them is Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, who was killed by agents in Houston last week. Sheinbaum said he was, in her words, practically murdered, and that Mexicans are outraged over the case.
