Trump dramatically cuts size of two national monuments held sacred by tribes

The Guardian reports that President Trump has approved significant reductions to two Utah national monuments held sacred by Native American tribes. Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante will each lose nearly one and a half million acres, opening the land to corporate developers and the oil and gas industry.
