Singapore's economy expands 5.7% in the second quarter, beating expectations

On Tuesday, Singapore's economy grew five point seven percent in the second quarter, beating analyst expectations of five point five percent, according to CNBC. The expansion, however, came in below the revised six point three percent growth recorded in the first quarter.
