French city of Nice marks 10th anniversary of terrorist attack

France is marking ten years since the twenty sixteen Bastille Day truck attack in Nice, France 24 reports. On that night, an attacker drove a truck into a crowd gathered along the seafront Promenade des Anglais to watch fireworks, killing eighty-six people. The attacker was shot dead by police that same night, but eight people accused of helping him now face trial, which is set to open Monday in a special terrorism court in Paris.
