Church of England votes against plan to rewild 30% of its land by 2030
world
Per the Guardian, the Church of England has rejected a plan to restore thirty percent of its land holdings to nature by twenty thirty. The church owns approximately four hundred twenty-five thousand hectares—making it one of England's largest property owners—yet dedicates only three point five percent of that land to nature restoration. Environmental campaigners have criticized the decision as a failure of moral leadership from one of the country's largest property owners.
