Trump pays writer E Jean Carroll $5m in damages over sexual abuse and defamation

President Trump has paid writer E. Jean Carroll five million dollars in damages over sexual abuse and defamation, according to BBC News. The BBC reports the president had sought to delay the payment while trying to persuade the Supreme Court to overturn the judgement.
